Quilt Show 2020 NEWS

What you can do to help us get ready for this year's quilt show.......

1) VOLUNTEER!  We need you!  The boutique committee needs your help.  We need more members of the committee to help with the work that is taking place now and continues up to and past the quilt show.  Please consider being part of this team!

2) TAKE and MAKE!  Take a kit from the boutique table to complete.  These are some of the products we will be selling in the boutique during the quilt show.  Every dollar we make at the quilt show helps us support the expenses of our guild.

3)  CONTRIBUTION!  Make something for the boutique to sell.  If you like it, so will others!  Again this is revenue for the guild's expenses such as the national speakers we all get to enjoy.

4)  SEW, SEW, SEW!  We need quilts and specialty items to display at the quilt show.  Our monthly show and tell is a gorgeous display of the creative talents of the guild members.  Let's showcase those talents to the attendees of the quilt show!

5)  PARTICIPATE!  Please stop by the Boutique Table to sign up for one, two, or three workshops that will be held in March:

  • March 19 will be the atomic bag workshop taught by Louise Ragle.  This workshop is limited to 15 and the boutique committee has assembled the kits.  Attendees need to only bring their sewing machine and sewing supplies.
  • The second workshop is March 26 where Sharon Borger will show us how to make the witches hat placemats.  Check the boutique table for supplies needed.
  • The third workshop is March 30, and Louise Ragle will teach us how to make a purse out of men’s ties.  Check the boutique table for supplies needed.

Everything helps in making this a successful Quilt Show and we appreciate everyone’s efforts!
